A Virtual Assistant is an entrepreneur who provides professional administrative, technical, or creative assistance to clients from a home office.

Common modes of communication and data delivery include the Internet, e-mail and phone call conferences, online work spaces, and fax machine. Professionals in this business work on a contractual basis and a long-lasting cooperation is standard.

When deciding if virtual assisting is for you ask yourself what your skills are and if you can provide those skills from the privacy of your own home. Then ask yourself if those skills are going to be beneficial to a business owner.

You may look around your home or home office and see everything you will need to get started. Starting a Virtual Assistance company is quite affordable. Most of what you need is basic for any office.

The most important thing you will need to know is MARKETING, MARKETING, MARKETING. This means postcards, business cards, brochures, and the sometimes dreadful…cold calls.
